Please recommend a good song. Thank you. |
Black Sabbath: Sign of the Southern Cross
. . . if you're in a brooding mood.
Enjoy . . . er, I guess you're not supposed to say that about a Black Sabbath song.
Left Me For Dead by Rob Dougan
Era? Language? Genre?
I'm all about instrumentals these days, although that will probably change unexpectedly. "Baba Yaga" by Annbjorn Lien.
Anything by Bodgea.
Anything by Garmarna
I wish I had an evil twin by the Magnetic Fields Here
Yay, Magnetic Fields! I agree!
I am currently in luff with Weezer's "My Name is Jonas.
*sigh* it's not a -good- song, but i have "endgame" from the chess soundtrack in my head. you can substitute "one night in bangkok," though.
"Oxford Comma" Vampire Weekend - catchy poppy indie rock song about grammar and honesty.
Thanks for that. I've just finished listening to Galileo and What Keeps Mankind Alive. Good stuff, and a pretty cool website.

Wings for Marie Parts I and II, by Tool
Singer's mother dies, he sings her to heaven.
Underwater by The Sugarplastic
I bought this one on Itunes.
Did you did it?
They are one of my favourite bands.
Uh, I mean, did you dig it?
Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds (on the album Let Love In)
Love that song! (but I like Loverman even more)
That whole freaking album is amazing. Actually, pretty much any Nick Cave is amazing as far as I'm concerned...
I'll have to check this one out. Hate to admit that while I've heard of Nick Cave I don't know his stuff.
I love his stuff, I just don't think you can go wrong with it.
I can't stop smiling when I hear (or sing) " Helmet" by the Bobs.
The Murder Mystery by The Velvet Underground.
